Can the grantor Quitclaim Deed to a corporation of LLC?

Posted on: 18th Feb, 2008 12:48 pm
My mother is wanting to quitclaim deed her home to my brother and myself. We are thinking of forming a LLC to purchase other rental property and would like for her home to be put in the LLC.

Is this possible?
Hi Pliggio,

Welcome to the forum.

I think this is possible and your mother can use a quitclaim deed and sign it as a grantor to transfer it to the LLC. But I think it will be better if you consult will an attorney regarding this. He will prepare the deed for you and will help you to make the deed valid.

Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

Thanks,
Larry

It is possible to transfer your property to an LLC, be it a rental or a residential porperty.

The community has earlier discussed on the same topic. So, please have a look at the discussion on Quitclaim to LLC .
