If I quit claim from my mom's home loan will it hurt my credit score if
something goes bad with her house payment
Hi edith,

A quitclaim deed won't remove your name from the mortgage docs. Your mother will have to refinance the mortgage. Once she does so, you won't be liable for the loan. In that case, if she defaults the mortgage, then it won't affect you.
