if a quitclaim is executed from husband to wife, and then the husband is sued, is the house safe from a lien?

My husband is self employed and may be facing a law suit. If the result of the suit is against him, we are concerned about a lien being placed against our home. If he signs the house over to me, can a lien be placed against it if he is off he deed?
If your husband's name is not mentioned on the property deed, then the lien cannot be placed on the property. However, if a lawsuit has already been filed against your husband, then transferring the property now will be considered as fraudulent.
