I worked for an elderly couple for about twenty years as their housekeeper. The bought an older home and I made payments to them for
15 years. They recently died, but had told their two daughters I was to have the house, They could not find a deed, but wrote a letter confirming
I was to receive the house. We all three signed our names and dated it.
I was notified by one daughter to go ahead and file a quit file claim since
her parents are deceased. She said to do as soon as possible. I am not
sure what to do.
Thank you.0

Hi joycelara!
Welcome to forums!
You will have to file an affidavit of heirship in order to get the property transferred in your name. You can contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this matter. He will guide you in this regard.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
