My husband wants to quit claim our home to me

My husband has agreed to quit claim our property to me - can we do that?
no reason he couldn't - but if there is a mortgage, you need to address that situation with the lender also.

hi busybea,

i agree with george. your husband can quitclaim the property to you. but if there is a mortgage, you need to inform the lender about the transfer of the property. the lender may ask you to refinance the mortgage in your name.
