wife got house in divorce but husband is still on deed. He won't sign quit claim so she can pursue a short sale option. What can she do?
Hi moxley!
Welcome to forums!
If the divorce decree mentions that the husband needs to sign the deed, then he is legally bound to do so. If he is not signing the deed, then the wife can file a lawsuit against him.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

once he signs the quit claim deed, is he obligated to sign after moxley sells the house? or can he refuse to sign the paperwork at closing...if he is on the mortgage still.
