Quit Claim Deed

if a husband buys out his wife to have sole ownership of home but wife did not sign quit claim deed and now they are divorced does this mean anything in regards to the home ownership?
Welcome Zack,

If the wife did not sign the quitclaim deed and never transferred the property to the husband, then the wife still has ownership rights to that property. She can still claim a share of that property as her name is still mentioned on the property deed.

Hi Zack!

Welcome to forums!

I agree with Adonis's opinion. If the wife hasn't transferred the property to the husband, then she still has ownership rights in regards to that property. She can still stay in the property even though the husband and wife are divorced.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
