Hi kuffa,
If you were on the title of the property, then your husband cannot quitclaim the property to someone else. Your signatures would be required in the quitclaim deed. I would suggest you to contact a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He would let you know what steps you need to take in order to get back the property in your name.

I think your name is not on title.
Please confirm with husband.
Are you separated? why not you ask details about mortgage to your husband?
1st check all the details with your husband about the mortgage.

it would appear that husband and wife have already been communicating, inasmuch as kuffa knows that he quit claimed the property to a third party.
