refusal to sign quit claim deed

if i do no sign a quit claim deed for my former spouse do i retain any interest in the property
Hi henry peterson!

Welcome to forums!

As you haven't signed a quitclaim deed, your name is still on the property papers. Thus, you have similar interest in the property like your former spouse. In case, your former spouse sells the property, you can claim some amount from the sale proceeds.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
