Hi keita.
Welcome to the forum.
Your husband can use a quitclaim deed or even a inter spousal transfer deed. If he uses a quitclaim deed then he will quitclaim to both to himself and you to add you on the deed. BTW you should talk with an local attorney on this regard.
To know which is better Interspousal Transfer or Quit Claim Deed, you can go through the article at http://www.mortgagefit.com/discuss/interspousal-transferdeed.html
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
Best of luck.
Larry

Hi Kieta,
My first question...is there a loan on the home? You may want to check if so to see if a change in title is a problem for the lender.
As to your question - A quit claim should solve the question wording to be "John Smith and Jane Smith as husband and wife"
