just curious, when my father died 1990, my mother went to the recorder's office and all of the kids in the family names put on the house. My mom is listed as the guarantor on the house and each of us were listed as exal guarantees
recently we have learned that in 2010 all of our names have been removed as exal guarantees and now only one of the kids is listed and is listed as the guarantee
is this a legal change and is there anything that can be done about it?

Hi Maddadoo!
Welcome to forums!
Unless all the kids give the required permission and sign on the required docs, it is difficult to get the deed transferred in one person's name. It is quite surprising that the deed was transferred to one person without anyone's knowledge.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hi Maddadoo,
You should show the deed to a real estate attorney and take his opinion in this regard. He will be able to let you know what steps you need to take in this regard.
