Sister in-law got poa one month before mom died. She then deeded mom's home to herself. There are copies of the will naming other children. As long as there is still a will on record, is the deed legal?
Hi bethkymes!

In my opinion, the quitclaim deed won't be able to override the will. This is because the will was drafted before the quitclaim deed was signed. I would suggest you to contact an attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
