my mother quitdeed me a property 5 years ago, the property has since been sold and now she is asking for proceeds. Is she legaly entilted to money from the sale?
Hi toywithme!

Welcome to Forums!

If she had quitclaimed the property to you and if her name is not on the title when you sold the property, then she cannot legally claim money from the sale of the property.

Feel free to ask if you have further queries.

When she had already quitclaimed the property to you, then she cannot claim any right over the property.
