My Mom did a quit-claim of her condo to herself and new husband a life estate interest for the the balance of thier joint lives with the remainder interest going to her children.
Does he loose posession once my Mom dies? Or does he have posession till he dies? My Mom reciently passed.

Welcome Sandy,
If the life estate clause mentions the name of your new husband, then he will be able to stay in the property though your mother is deceased.
