Can I quitclaim my mortgaged home back to the bank? I am on SS Disability and alone and am having great difficulty meeting the financial demands of owning a home?
hi helen!
welcome to forums!
as you're facing problems in paying off the mortgage, you can contact your lender and apply for a deed in lieu of foreclosure. if the lender accepts your request, then you will be able to get rid of your property easily and you won't have to pay any deficient balance to the lender.
feel free to ask if you've further queries.

Hello Helen,
Seek legal or business help that you can trust before washing your hands and walking away. It could save you some nasty surprises in the future.
