hi my ex husband recently filed for bankruptsy the house loan is not in my name but the deed is he filed and signed a quit deed foem in dec of 99 but i pay for the property and it was awarded to me by the judge what should i do he never call the bank to take himself of the loan but now they stop accepting my payments hellppp
Welcome sandra,

I guess your ex has included the mortgage in the bankruptcy filing. As a result, the bankruptcy court is not accepting your payments now. As far as I can understand, you'll have to wait till his bankruptcy gets discharged and then you can refinance the mortgage in your name and pay off the monthly dues in full.
