dose the quick deed need to be mailed to any authority?
Hi ndepaulo.
Welcome to the forum.
I don't know why do you want to mail it to anyone? As far as I know the grantor should sign the quitclaim deed in front of the notary officials and then needs to notarize and record the deed in the county recorder's office in your state.

as larry noted, the fully executed document needs to be filed with the appropriate official, be that county or city - depends on the laws of your state, as he said.
Generally, there is a county agency where the deed is filed. It can be the County Clerk, or the County Recorder's Office, or somewhere else. Check your county's website.
