a friend of mine wants to quit deed his property to me. he is being harassed because of unsitely property and is having some medical issues. if i agree to this quit deed does the responsibility of cleaning up the place become mine?

Hi Ann,

Once you become the owner of the property, you will become fully responsible for it. Thus, you will have to take up the responsibility of cleaning up the place.

hey ann,

filling out a quit claim deed under your name, the property is yours. every responsibility becomes yours including payments and clean-up.
