MY MOTHER HAS LEFT ME HER MOBILE HOME IN HER WILL. CAN SHE QUIT CLAIM IT TO ME NOW AND THE DEED BE IN MY NAME PRIOR TO HER DEATH??
Hi Sandy,
Your mother can sign a quitclaim deed in your name and transfer the property to you. You'll have to notarize and record it at the county recorder's office. Thus, you won't have to probate her will when your mother is deceased.
Thanks
