Hi!
Me and my husband just bought the property but i made down payment and he just did for finance for his name but we both put our name in deed. Is there any chance that he makes quick claim deed for just in case of divorce? I also make monthly mortgage payment with income property. I just little concern about if we get to divorce, i don't want him to part of it. Thank you

If I understand correctly the mortgage/home loan is only in your husband's name, correct?
welcome waterfall.
is your husband only on the mortgage? are you also on the title of the property? if the mortgage is on your husband's name only and you want him to quitclaim the property to you then your needs to inform the mortgage company first and take their confirmation. and then you may need to refinance the mortgage on your name only. so can you refinance the mortgage on your name only?
