name not on note

I did a Quit Claim on property, I no longer hold any interest on this property. By having this Quit Claim, can it release me from this foreclosure complaint? My name was only on the mortgage so my name would be on the title. My name is not listed on the note nor did i sign any thing on the note.
Can anyone give me help on my type of situation.
Thank you
please elaborate - is the foreclosure action already taking place? if so, you could be deemed to have quit claimed your interest fraudulently. even if not, if you know that an action is imminent, you can be held accountable for your ownership.

I receive the papers 6 days ago. The Quit claim was filed more than 7 months ago and before there were any late payments.

that would seem to eliminate any potential for problems.
