My mother has alzhimer's and she quitclaim deeded the house to my 2 sisters and 1 brother and1 granddaughter..but according to her the house was given to me..and my name could not be on it because I am the encumbent she said..and that my name will show up after 5 yrs..is this correct..?
Hi,

Is your name on the title to the property? Since your name does not appear on the quitclaim deed, it seems you do not have any interest in the property. I'm not sure how your name will show up after 5 years. It does not seem to be correct at all. If you were to get an interest in the property, you ought to have been added in the quitclaim deed as one of the grantees.
