is a quit claim deed another for a tax free estate and protect house from medicard.
Welcome cinsiddud,
You can use a quit claim deed in order to add your niece to the property deed. This will make her the owner of the property. However, signing a quit claim deed may not protect your property from Medicare. It will result into a look back period and you would not remain eligible for Medicare benefits for the next 5 years.
