My mom past and did not live a will. All my Siblings want me to have the house and are willing to sign the house to me.Can we use a Quick Claim Deed?
Hi armymann,

You will have to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office in order to get the property transferred in your name.

Thanks

Hi,

After your mother's death legally you are the owner of the property. However, as your mom did not live any will, to prove you as her legal heir, you need to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office. All other heirs also need to sign a document to transfer the property in your name. Consult with a good attorney to get detailed information.

Feel free to ask questions.
