my husband and i are separated. we own a home together. i filed bankruptcy and included the home and it was discharged. i was told by the mortgage company that i am not liable for the debt. i want to quit claim deed the house giving up my rights.will i have to pay combined real esatate tax when the quit claim deed is recorded?
Hi Tstwart!

Welcome to forums!

You and your husband can negotiate and decide upon as to who pays for the combined real estate taxes. As the property will be fully transferred to your husband, you can request him to pay the real estate taxes when the deed is recorded.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
