My parents own 2 houses and their both are paid off and they are in my dads name.Can my dad add my mom to the deed so she could get the exemptions for one of the property.They found out that you can't get exemptions on two properties.So should he quitclaim deed it or just add her

As the property is free and clear, your father can sign a warranty deed and add your mother's name to the property deed. This will make your mother one of the owner's of the property.
