A friend of mine and I were co tenants of a property, but he quitclaimed the remaining interests to me while reserving a Life Estate unto himself, also, there is a Personal Care Agreement Document that states, I am to care for him when he gets ill because he has health issues that will diminish his quality of life. Does this mean that if for some reason I decide I can not care for him any longer I will lose my original 50% interests? Will I keep all of the interest in the property, or get nothing? Please Help!
Hi baybygirl,
If any such clause is mentioned in the deed, then you may lose your right to the property if you don't take care of him.
Thanks

Thanks for responding. There is no mention of the personal care agreement on the QuitClaim Deed, only in a seperate agreement.
Hi baybygirl,
I will suggest you to show the quitclaim deed and the personal care agreement to a real estate attorney and take his/her opinion in this regard.
Thanks
