Power of Attorney to sign quit claim deed

Posted on: 20th Apr, 2010 08:02 pm
hello,
i have power of attorney over my 94 year old grandmother and she has a home and property but we don't have the original will. so could i, as the power of attorney, sign the quit claim deed over to myself in order to avoid any problems later on. thanks
Hi corbet_girl,

As you've the power of attorney, you can sign the quitclaim deed on her behalf and get the property transferred in your name.

Thanks
