I have power of attorney for my mom. Can I use this to remove my dad's name off of the house deed and just have it placed in my mom's name. (both names are on the house now as joint ownership, we just want hers on there) My dad has dementia and we would like it to now be only in her name.
Hi Snoopy,

You won't be able to use th POA to remove your father's name from the property deed as the POA is given to you by your mother.

Hi Snoopy!

Welcome to the forums!

In this regard, it will be better if you could get in touch with a real estate attorney and take his opinion.
