my ex wife and i divorced in 3/2011 and i signed a quit claim deed to her for our home so that she could refinance in her name. am i entitled to any refunded prepaids ie.....taxes, interest and other fees that are refunded when she gets the home refinanced?
Welcome klecas,
Your ex-wife is the sole owner of the property now. In such a situation, as far as I know, you are not entitled to receive any taxes, interest or other fees.

Unless there is a stipulation in the contractual agreement between you and your former wife concerning refunds, there would be no reason for any lender to return funds to you.
I need to amend my comments....the lender wouldn't return any funds to you no matter what in this case. If there was any amount due you from such a transaction, it would have to have been worked out with the owner of the home, which would be your former wife.
