hello
my wife and i are considering transfering our house into our kids names, we are leaving overseas for 2 or 3 years, question is, can we have them quit claim back to us after we come back, like have them sign the quit claim deed without dating it now, and we will date it at the right time, also having them sign a power of attorney, would that help??

Hi joenaber!
Property cannot be transferred to anyone below 18 years of age. If your kids are above 18 years of age, you may quitclaim the property to them. Your kids can reverse quitclaim the property back to you when you come back but you will have to put the dates. Yes, signing a power of attorney can help your cause.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.
