A Quit Claim was recently completed between my mother and myself, transferring the deed from her and my sisters name to my name only. My mother has the power of attorney and signed for her and my sister. The house is paid in full. Do I have the legal rights to this property and should one day I want to sell it, would I have that right too?
Welcome Lisa,
As the property has been transferred to you, then you would be considered as the owner of the property. Thus, you would be able to sell off the property as and when you require.
