in 2005 before she passed away, my mom quit claim deed' her property in my name and hers. i have 4 other siblings but i paid the mortage off alone, how do i get her name off the property and will my siblings have to quit claim deed my moms portion to me?
Hi MissMSparks,

As your mother is deceased, you need to file an affidavit of heirship at the county recorder's office. Your other siblings can also file a claim for that portion of the property which your mother owned. You can buy them out in order to get the property transferred in your name solely.

Thanks
