My mother passed away in 2006. I am the successor trustee to her estate. Everything has been taken care of except for a piece of land located in Hilo, Hawaii.
Can I just quitclaim this property over to me? Or should I use a different document? I am the sole heir to her estate.

hi mbw,
as far as i can understand, you'll be able to transfer the property in your name with the help of a quit claim deed. however, i would suggest you to contact your attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
thanks
