i am divorcing and own a home with my husband. i would like to purchase a home after the divorce however i have no equity in my home. if i quit deed my current home to my husband as part of the divorce, is there any reprecussions to my qualifying for a mortgage loan? we had great credit, but due to the economy, we had to agree to settlements on credit cards due to late payments.
