can you record a deed after the grantor dies?
After a grantor's death, the deed cannot be recorded. You should record the deed during the lifetime of the grantor.
My real estate lawyer said you can record a deed that has been recorded and signed by the grantor and grantee after the grantor has died.
Hi Gina!

Well... in that case, you should contact the county recorder's office and try recording the deed.
