i did a quick claim deed on a unknowen land in dec08 i found out somebody else did the same thing in nov08 both went through the court house by the same lawyer what can i do?
Hi Guest,
As a quitclaim deed was already filed for the land in November'08, your deed will not be taken into consideration in my opinion. You need to contact an attorney and get the whole issue resolved.
Thanks

the thing is it has been rocorded in the court house and i had a lawyer to do the quit claim himself i also paid him for this he said i had to show ownership by posting it or cut brush the other man did nothing but i posted it in jan and put livestock on it in feb
Hi Guest!
Welcome back to forums!
In my opinion, you have not done the right thing by posting ownership or putting livestock on it. After all, it is the other who is the owner of the property. As James has suggested, you need to take some professional help and resolve the issue.
Feel free to ask if you have further queries.

we did what the lawyer told us to do is to show ownership and to post it and the other person is not actually the owner either cause all he said was he had a quit claim deed the actually owner has been unknown for years.
Hi jesus,
Though the actual owner is unknown for years, it is he who needs to transfer the property to you so that you can become the owner of the property. In case, if the original owner is deceased, still then, his property will first go to his heirs. Then his heirs can transfer the property to you by signing a quitclaim deed. As I've suggested earlier, please consult another lawyer and get his/her opinion in this regard.
Thanks
