Is a Quitclaim Deed legal if not recorded
Hi Lily,
As far as I know, a quit claim deed is not legal if it is not recorded at the county recorder's office. It is always advised that the grantee to the property should immediately record the deed after the property is transferred in his or her name.
Thanks
