Quit Claim/ Property transfer

Posted on: 18th Feb, 2008 05:56 pm
Hi, i am looking at a foreclosed home in redemption period. on the county register they show a owner and then a taxpayer status person who has a CD with the owner does that person have any interest in the property where the lender must acknowledge? If not if there is taxes owed and I quit claim the taxpayer and pay the past due taxes can i place a lien on the home during the redemption period to hold off the REO in order to work with the lender?

Hi Kingg,

Welcome to the forums.

Are you intending to buy the property or do you wish to have it transferred to you through a quitclaim deed? Why do you want to place a lien on the home during the redmption period? Please clarify your question a bit more so that I can give proper suggestions.

Take Care
