Quit Claim and records

Posted on: 17th Sep, 2010 02:15 pm
Mr. Heard,

My partner and I are both on the deed. She signed the quitclaim deed and I have submitted the paper work to the County Clerks office (notarized). My question is, will the year end taxes for property, Renn mudd, county appraisal district, and etc.. reflect the changes to only have my name on it now? The house is paid off in full as well. Please advise.

Thanks,
Tommy
Hi hatommy,

You will have to contact the tax department and update your name in the tax documents. Thus, you will receive the tax bills and you'll have to pay off the dues on time.

Thanks
