Once a quitclaim deed has been issued with a life estate clause, can the life estate be relingushed by the grantor?
Welcome jdeere,
Once the life estate clause has been brought into effect, it can be relinquished by the grantor.

Registering the quitclaim deed with the county would bring into effect the life estate clause, is this correct? What legal form would be needed to relinguish?
yes but the quit claim deed should state that the life estate is being relinquished. you should consult an attorney on how to put down the legal language on the deed.

Can you provide the wording for subject clause?
Welcome Bill,
I think it would be better if you can contact an attorney in this regard. He will help you in a better way in writing the subject clause.
