My husband and I are both on the deed of our house; however, only my
husband is on the mortgage.
I wish to remove my name from the deed of our house. Can I do this with a quitclaim deed? Does my husband have to be involved to get this done? i.e., does my husband have to sign any papers if I do the quitclaim deed?
I do not wish to get him involved in this procedure, if possible.

Welcome pipster,
You can use a quitclaim deed and transfer the property to your husband. This will make him the sole owner of the property. You don't have to involve your husband in this process.

The deed must be notarized and delivered to the husband and you should record it in the county recorder's office where the property is located.
