One of my brothers want to take his name out of the title of the property. Should he remove his name by removing a joint tenant , or remove with signing a quick claim deed?
he can remove his name by doing a quit claim deed.

also rememebr it will remove the name from the tile only, bot from the mortgage.

make sure to notarize it and record it in the county office

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

As Sunny has suggested, your brother can use a quitclaim deed to remove his name from the property deed. Is he on the mortgage of the property? If yes, then the other owners of the property will have to refinance the loan in their name to release him from the liability of paying the mortgage dues.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
