Divorce---wife wants husband to quitclaim deed the house to her,,,what responsibility will he have if she faults? Will his name remain on the contract thru the finance company?

Hello druthgreen88,

A quit claim deed only transfers the interests in real property it DOES NOT change any responsibility as far as the mortgage is concerned.
