I quit claimed my home (debt free) to a friend who then took out a mortgage on the house. She then quit claimed it back to me but has quit making payments. The bank will not even talk to me because the loan is not in my name. They are threatening to foreclose. What can I do?

you will have to contact the lender and refinance the loan in your name and pay off the dues on time. this will help you in saving the property.
