Hi
I am the grantor of a deed for a home I purchased and the loan is ONLY in my name. At the time of purchase at the closing I allowed my boyfriend to be included on the deed cause he insisted to be on it in order for us to continue with our wedding plans. That was about 4 years ago and he is still NOT able to qualify to be on the loan and now we are splitting and he refuses to deed the house back to me. WE are in Ga and NEVER got married. What can I do about this, it is costing me everything and all I keep hearing is HE has the right to be there.

Hi etaylor,
As your boyfriend's name is mentioned on the property deed, he has the right to live there. You can't force him to move out of the property. However, you can buy him out by offering him a certain sum of money and ask him to transfer his share of the property to you.

Hi etaylor!
Welcome to forums!
You will have to follow the opinion of Adonis. If he is on the property deed, then he will considered as the owner of the property. You won't be able to force to move out of the property. If you do so, it will be considered as illegal and he can take legal actions against you. Rather, you should try and buy him out as Adonis has suggested.
Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
