My cousin signed her house over through a quitclaim deed. She is now seriously ill and needs the money from the house. The grantee will not sign the house back to her. Is there anything she can do. She is 80 years old and suffering from cancer.
Hi noellewh,
As the property has already been transferred, your cousin will not be considered as the owner of the property. If the grantee does not want to sign back the property to her, then she cannot force her/him to do so. There is hardly anything that can be done in this regard.
