my father had my brother sign a quit claim deed a month before he applied for a reverse mortgage. i would like to know if my brother is going to have expenses from this.
Hi croberts,
In order to get a reverse mortgage, the owner of the property should be at least 62 years. As your brother was not of 62 years of age, your father had him quitclaimed the property so that he can himself apply for a reverse mortgage. But I did not understand what you wanted to say by - "my brother is going to have expenses from this". Can you explain this please?
Thanks
