QUITCLAIM

Posted on: 18th Feb, 2011 03:48 pm
I live in GA and my wife recently died. We both have revocable Trust Agreements that include all our assets. These trust agreements leave all of the deceased partner’s assets to the surviving spouse. My wife’s will, which leaves everything to me, does not need to go through probate and will not go through probate. Our house is titled in both of our trust names. I’d like to have the title to the house updated to reflect that the house is now entirely owned by my trust. Can I do this with a quick claim deed?
Hi raydoan,

I don't think you will be able to do that with the help of a quitclaim deed. I will suggest you to contact a real estate attorney and take his or her help in this matter.

Thanks
