hello, Can someone assist--if father has a quitclaim deed with one childs name, do the other kids get a portion of the house when sold after death.
Welcome CMac,
If both the father and one of the kids are on the property deed, then the other children can claim their father's share of the property upon his death. Thus, if the property is sold off after the father's death, they can claim a portion of the sale proceeds from their father's share.
